my life seems so busy, and yet i feel empty inside sometimes. perhaps its got to do with drifting..i've been desperately trying to catch up spiritually these few days..God really gives comfort :)
great friends are also there to lend u their ears whenever u need them. but sometimes they're not there..i think recently i've become overdependent on people. its like, solitude has become something foreign to me. but i read somewhere a moment of solitude is always good. it gives u time to reflect, to thank God for what u have, and to pray for others. like now :)
im leaving for malaysia on the 4th - 7th with my cousins! we're gonna go on this huge bus and its gonna be really really fun. a good break from all the hectic orientation planning, 24th farewell planning, and SAT studying. SATs are really quite gross...its a 3h 45 min paper where u have to read so much. not my forte.
storyline has been relatively interesting. but cruel chengchai has transformed my seemingly okay role of hermes into a 'gay bitch's' role! ;'( so i have to act like that..z0mg. and i have like tonnes of lines..they really ought to have gotten some RP person to play the role.
oh crap do u all realise its 1 month left till school reopens! ggxx!

i went to the ZOO on thurs with dene and zuzu.haha it was fun! nobody else could make it =( like lesles or rayner.i didn't bring my camera so we used denne's one..haha the pictures are up. but i look gross cos i was tired and grumpy at the end. but we watched all the shows! so it was $15 WELL SPENT. but the last show at the children's playworld was so sucky haha. the sheepdog refused to do what the trainer asked it to do...hahaha.but the rest were cool...i liked the fragile forest alott. the lemurs actually dare to come up close to you and its super cool cos they jump around you and play catching around you. i wanted to see the tree kangaroo but it was pretty elusive...so was the sloth. =(
so for much of the earlier part we were taking pictures with animals and posing in front of them pretending to act like them. very silly. and i duno why zu and dene kept taking pictures with the dustbins..-_- OH YA the otters are super super cute z0mg we were lucky enough to see them eating fish..very cool. and they're very friendly cos if u dangle your arms over the water they'll swim to you cos they'll think you're giving them food. and they make these barking noises. and i saw some super majestic-looking animals like the white tiger and the maned wolf, and even some primate with cool fur. speaking of monkeys..the proboscis monkeys are horribly indecent....go look at the picture denne is the most excited about. oh and i think baboons have the grossest butts around. haha and at the end of our journey denne decided to overcome her personal challenge of taking a picture with a snake wrapped around her! not bad! but she was squealing so its not counted. it was a fun day where i forgot about my troubles! and things im sad about!
on friday was another fun-filled day cos orientation team 0506 went out to sentosa! it was fun cos we played beach soccer and frisbee and dunked people. leslie lim almost lost my spectacles! luckily kevin, or keith found it. yea and after that it rained but it didn't really dampen our mood and we went to harbourfront to eat. :) a day pretty well spent! oh annabelle and i climbed up this scaffolding thingy supporting the coconut tree. quite fun haha
on saturday...we had a sec4 gathering at mrs lim's house!it was very fun catching up and everything. cedric jong raghu hongyue and i met up earlier to navigate our way to paya lebar walk...and cedric almost got us lost with his lousy streetdirectory.com. but it was a fun night! the food was yummy i gorged on lotsa sausages and chicken wings and beef steaks :D
ahh..this past week has been so filled with activity that i haven't had much time to catch a breather. fortunately there was time today to perform the much needed change of fish tank water and hamster cage bedding =) and just relax and think about what the past week has been. sigh i wish every week could just be full of nonsense distracting us from the real world of paperchasing and the fact that our loved ones may be overseas ;'( my fathers birthday is on tuesday and he's leaving the country tomorrow, so we wont get to celebrate his birthday with him. i decided to do the family a favour and make a card-thingy for him. i thought it was quite nice =) i like using oil pastels and water colour...i did this card which says 'dear daddy...even though, mummy loves her handbags, matt loves his soccer balls, ying loves her ipod, and mike loves his maplestory.....we love you the most! happy birthday!' haha quite cool right =) and i drew those items with oil pastels and everything...really fun.
i think we dont show our parents enough gratitude, like we take them for granted. everytime someone sends me home i always show my appreciation in multiple 'thank yous', but i just exit the car without saying a word when my father comes from bukit timah to fetch me at paya lebar. i should make a point to say thank you =)
the next week will be less fun-filled i think, but nevertheless relatively busy! seeeee ya

these few days have been lazy days..doing nothing much in particular. everyday there has been activities, but none particularly extraordinary.
after church on sunday, i went to my church friend jide's house and we watched kungfu mahjong. its quite funny, but there wasn't much of a kungfu element. and neither did i understand mahjong, but it was relatively entertaining nonetheless. =)
oh! monday was oral presentation. yea it went okay. =) oh after that there was storyline meeting where i discovered i am HERMES, messenger god. the storyline for orientation revolves around greek mythology. and i'll be wearing winged sandals and whatever that makes me look like him. i hope it wont be too embarrassing. annd i duno why they chose me >=[ denene is some weird thing. and junyi is trying to rope in ali and zhu too i think hahah. after that i accompanied catty while she waited for her friend in j8 mos burger. where we did some brainstorming =) after that i went to seeetoh's house! and it was quite late already and they were done with swimmning =( besides eating a HUGE portion of chicken rice, we watched snippets of LOTR in his personal theatre at home! ssooooooo nice
tuesday was a bad bad day. i went to sch to handup I & R. at 1 o clock i became very saddd =( after that there was class outing so i distracted myself a little..we went to orchard to eat food republic, and we watched the exorcism of emily rose. i think its quite a good movie and it isn't all that horrifying. its somewhat a case for christ because it shows that demons exist since its a true story. since there's satan, there's God! its not a BOO scary show but rather a more disturbing one. but i wasn't disturbed cos 'with christ in the vessel i can smile at the storm =)'
today, there was orientation meeting and jive workshop..which was kinda screwed up cos both were ongoing simultaneously. after that we were bored so we went to island creamery. and there was no ? flavour !!!! ARGHHHHHHHHH. the bunch of us who went were leslie joan nick daniel lam..quite a random group of people haha! and there was no electricity in my house from 9am-6pm today. so it was awfully hot =( fortunately tehre was water...if not i'll die

haha okay i apologise...ali is not a loser. she's a very good listener and a great friend! so she's for sale too...about same price as joobs. 20 cents. if u buy zhuzhu too, all 3 of them will cost 50cents...3 for the price of 2 and a half!!
haha...i can't really remember what i did for this week. here's a rough guide..i watched TOM YUM GOONG with just and joobs and her PW friend peixuan. just and i thoroughly enjoyed it cos it was sooo good and its the best action movie i have ever watched. =) im not sure about traumatised joobs though haha
then on the 9th my family left singapore! they left me a really sweet note on my mirror..and that night i stayed over at leslie's place with fangwei! we borrowed the dvd 'batman begins' and 'league of extraordinary gentlemen'. batman begins was kinda bad cos i watched it half-sleeping. we woke up the next morning to watch league and it was quite nice! after that leslie and i went town and we stoned around and decided to watch zorro in a sucky cinema. and it wasn't good cos the action in tom yum goong is 10 million times better.
friday morning was the best time of my life =)
after going to yio chu kang CC, i went to j8 and met jem nah joobs ali zhu! then just and nina were there too so i spent time with both groups.
on saturday evening, i went for latin dance class! to sit in...the teacher seems nice and everything seems friendly =)
ah my family is coming back tmr!

ali is super loser! today nobody wanted to watch GOALL cos im the only suaku who hasn't watched it so i forced ali to watch with me. we had to watch it at bishan cos it was the only place in singapore which stll showed it! it was quite good! but newcastle beat chelsea in the game so not so nice. i got a bit pissed after that happened haha. ali thinks santiago munez is a sexy name
after that the most loser incident happened. we took train to town cos it was more happening there but we got on the wrong side so we were headed to ang mo kio i think. we realised and we crossed the platform. then upon reaching bisha, she walked out with a confident strut and told me we had to cross the platform again. so we were shoopping for random stuff in orchard and it was quite fun talking about lotsa things..and we ate at the yummy ramen place again :D afterwards wanlin came to join ali so i just tagged along cos i didn't feel like going home yet.
i got some good ideas for christmas presents already! thanks ali =)

hello : ) this week was really filled with ups and downs. maybe not, but it was basically downnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn then up! thursday was the most awful..i couldn't enjoy my grandpa's birthday dinner at all.
but friday things took a turn for the better. threesome was pretty good : ) especially the company! haha
then on friday was the performance at toa payoh .. i forgot a few of my latin steps but it wasn't too obvious i think! haha. and hiphop was okay i guess! there were blips and i got upset cos of silly stuff..but everything's fine now.

the whole week has been, and will be filled with dance. sigh, but there really isn't anything else to do either. why is singapore so boring =(
on monday it was quite okay because there was dance prac for chingay! just and leslie came and it was funny watching them dance! after that lesles had training so just and i went to orchard and we went shopping and it was fun =) bought almost identical presents...
at night there was family bible study! it was quite cool that we'd come together as a family to have fellowship during halloween. my uncle who just became a pastor, talkd about temptations, sharing the account of how Jesus got tempted by the devil too. its quite heartwarming to know that our saviour knows how we feel and can empathise with our everyday experiences..
afterwards yanjie my sec2 cousin came to stayover! played warcraft a while then we went into the room and talked. its easy to talk to him cos he doesn't know anything cos he's so innocent so he knows quite a lot of my secrets haha
the next day we played warcraft the entire morning! then, there was dance in the afternoon for the 5th november performance, but it was for really quite a short while! cos jem and natalie were dancing since morning and they were really tired. so afterwards i decided to go to jem's house to play tennis and swim! its very nice..and he has a very small yet cosy room. his apple laptop looks very smart on his bench-desk thingy..=) its been a long time since i had swum, and it was a pity the condominiums were blocking the sun!
sigh and today was a crummy day. after latin workshop (sorry evelyn!) just, chenwei and i went to eat at j8. then chenwei had to go for training..so just and i went to orchard to walk around. then i felt really really sad..plus just was going to meet someone so i became alone. then i felt like crap because everyone close to me was busy. so i went home and played warcraft, which was the last thing i wanted to do. and i missed my bus stop too =(
now i'm going to try to cheer up and go eat ice cream.
why is everyone too busy for me =(
